I've had my Ariens Deluxe 28 for about 5yrs & have about 55hrs on the clock now. It's a great machine, but I too had the an issue with the petcock on mine this year. The auto steering is a bit of a love / hate thing too. It works great but I don't care for it when one of the skids grabs some thing & it decides to turn on you. Other than these issues it has been a good solid machine that has an all metal shoot unlike a lot of the other walk behinds which use plastic on their shoots.

I left the snow cab, snow blade and tire chains on the 95 520H this spring knowing I was getting old and having trouble with duties... last year were not a problem. Glad I did. I am ready for winter

I do need to install  new battery for this snow season it is 4 years old and cranks kinda slow..........Like me.......... Mother always told me I was a little slow....

Looking good there Sparky! Ariens snowblowers are made too far from us:handgestures-thumbupright:

I’ve got the diesel Cub with the hydro turn blade mounted and ready to go.  I’m hoping to get Zach’s Blackbeard (GT14) ready with his 36” single stage to play with this winter in the appropriate snow levels.  With the 16hp Magnum upgrade, we should have the power...not sure if the single stage will give me the launching power to hurl the snow far enough.  I haven’t hooked up the deuce to Kelli’s RED quite yet...

my three  horses are ready also is ready also , two with 42" blades and one with a 36-42 blower . my experiment with the light bulb reflector under the engine is the deal, easily just keeps enough heat on bottom of engine at oil pan , battery tender if cold enough and instant starting , no issues at all . also detailed lubed the blower tension pulley drive frame , so it moves with spring tension with total ease . spins up with out effort , without any drive belt bounce. added a lift spring on each of my foward end plow frames , cut the lift work down alot. also tightened up my tire chain set up , bring it, pete

I've got most of mine ready to go finally. I put tri ribs on my 416-H, turfs with weight and chains and my single stage thrower tall shoot.

Hot the hood and conversion almost all complete on my  C-161 with the 44" 2 stage.  Blower got a new belt too.  All I have is a few small things to button up.  I need to wire up the electric PTO still and put the weights and chains on the back.  Still need to figure out the anti sway brackets and the big lift spring.

Got my GT1600 and my Arien’s blower ready. Fresh oil, grease, gas etc...

The factory fuel shutoff was leaking on the Ariens, had to remove a bunch of stuff to get to it including the fuel tank I literally JUST FILLED UP! Oh well, all fixed now.

My C105 is my back up plow machine, that one is not ready yet.

  Bring on the white stuff!!

Mike I think this the way to do it. Get some exercise and set time all in one. Push every thing to one side blow the hell out if it. That is what I am going to do this year. Enjoy.
