WheelHorseSteve 56 #1 Posted November 18, 2019 Is this a long frame or short frame tractor? It looks like a C-series to me. What years did this model run from? I have a 1974 C-120 and 1976 C-160. Thanks all!
Stepney 2,354 #2 Posted November 18, 2019 Chargers were built from '68 to '72 and they are all long frame models. 68-9 have narrower grilles while 70-72 look more like a C series. Only big difference is they predate the Tach-A-Matic front hitch. Easily adapted though.
953 nut 60,377 #3 Posted November 18, 2019 (edited) Charger 12 would be a long frame. I think the last of the short frames was the 1967 six and eight HP tractors. Edited November 18, 2019 by 953 nut fat finger, change 77 to 67 as pointed out by EB

pfrederi 18,718 #7 Posted November 18, 2019 (edited) Charger/Electro are outstanding tractors (I have 6) They make great snow tractors (Limited slip differential). No 520 wiring electrical issues. if you can't figure out their wiring put down your tools and step away from the tractor And they represent all of the ignition systems WH ever used, Battery Points, Magneto Points, Breakerless and Tecumseh Solid state!!! gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,527 #9 Posted November 18, 2019 I believe these are the medium frame models. They use a shorter drive belt than the long frame models using the same model of mower deck. 1972 Commando 800 model 1-0110 1973 8hp 4-Speed model 1-0120 1974 B-80 4-Speed models 1-0140 and 1-0145 1974 B-100 Auto model 1-0510 1975 B-80 4-Speed model 1-0141 1975 B-100 Auto model 1-0511 Garry
