Battery hold down

Recommended Posts

Xearl

I have a 523DXI  with the hood up an engine running I noticed the  battery was vibrating quite a bit .  I don't remember a hold down except an adjustable bracket at the bottom .  I'm trying to find out if I am missing a hold down that goes over the top like my 518XI .  A picture would help . Thanks guys .

2 brackets #8 at each end of the battery. Checked early and late models and they are the same.

Is the tray bolted solid?

Parts Tree only shows those brackets each side of the battery.
