The overall spring length seems to be about 14 ½" with the spring part being about 10 ½" to 10 ¾ "long. vanillaman 10 #9 Posted February 8, 2020 Earlier this season I broke the tension on my 42 in. single stage. I took the spring to a local mom & pop power equipment dealer. He has a box of used springs in the shop and found one that works for me. These people are familiar with most makes of machines. You might give that a try.
