easy Ed 0 #1 Posted April 21, 2009 On a wh 520 h with forward sweep axle does the snow plow have to be added to in length to work and pivot.
kpinnc 10,769 #2 Posted April 21, 2009 Has to have an adapter to clear the front wheels. I think they are NLA, but they come up on Ebay sometimes, and are also fairly easy to fabricate. Kevin
easy Ed 0 #3 Posted April 21, 2009 If somone has a picture of an adapter, I would like to see one . does it extend the front of the plow or the rear .
Jim_M 178 #4 Posted April 21, 2009 I don't have the part number in front of me right now but you need a completing kit to mount a long frame dozer blade on a 520-H with the forward swept axle. It consists of a frame extension for the rear of the blade frame, an extension to move the lift point back and an angling lever with an S bend in it. Kevin's right, they're no longer available but they show up from time to time.
TT-(Moderator) 1,128 #5 Posted April 21, 2009 The "conversion kit" consists of three main pieces -- the extension for the back of the "A" frame, the lift attachment point relocation bracket, and the offset angle lever. Here's a normal blade to compare it to:
