stevebo-(Moderator) 8,534 #1 Posted April 21, 2009 Guys, I have been watching and talking to PO of a T75 Panzer that he had about 45 mins from my house. I heard a lot of good things about the Penn. Panzer being a strong machine. Anyone here know what I should expect from the T75 with a 10hp Briggs? He said it has spark and compression but the carb needs to be cleaned. I will be picking it up tomorrow. Any feedback would be great. I know a Panzer is not a horse but why not see what it is all about. It is a nice looking machine. Thanks- Steve Bo
Sparky-(Admin) 23,169 #2 Posted April 21, 2009 Hopefully the drive disc is allright cause I bet their just about impossible to find. They are a cool looking tractor and look great from behind with that old Plymouth rear end. Mike........
Buzz 502 #3 Posted April 21, 2009 The March/April edition of Lawn and Garden Collector Magazine had a feature article on them. Great looking tractors, wouldn't mind adding one to my collection someday. Good luck with it, let us know how you make out. :omg:

CasualObserver 3,411 #8 Posted April 22, 2009 Steve... you asked for "any feedback" I like the Panzer, it's a neat looking old GT. Kelly... that's only two. The first five signs are only one.
Rideawaysenior 25 #9 Posted April 22, 2009 Panzers? Can't beatem. Very simple machines, well built and reliable. The drive setup is a pulley system coupled to the rear by roller chain. The axle is a cut down Plymouth rearend. My friend Mike rebuilt one for his father this year ground up. The rebuild was quick and painless. The disk drive Sparky is refering to is the reversing disc. It has a rubber ring on it that is difficult to find and have replaced unless you know where to look. The reversing gear is similar to what was used on the early RJ's. Every once and a while, I see them on Ebay as new fabricated parts.
