CasualObserver 3,410 #1 Posted April 20, 2009 Anybody ever heard of or seen one? I know of and have seen at least a picture of most kinds of garden tractors, but this is a new one to me. This ad is all I have... just never heard of it and thought I'd throw it out there. Found it in a 1957 magazine while looking for old WH ads.
Eriks Red horse herd 120 #2 Posted April 20, 2009 I do believe its the same company called (ME rotary tillers) Milwaukee Equipment Manufacturing, Milwaukee Wisc. They were Known for Rear tine Rototillers. Then around middle to late 50's Bolens aquired the company and thats about the time Bolens started produceing riding garden tractors. I could be wrong to but the address in your add is real close to ME address. Some one else might chime in with a different story.

CasualObserver 3,410 #4 Posted April 21, 2009 I do think about that... how many of these old things have succumbed to the scrappers over the years. I have to laugh at the drawing... check out the headlight setup. I'd really like to see what that looked like in real life. Sort of hanging out there like googly eyeballs. Erik... thanks... interesting info, and makes sense to me. Probably no point in following up though until someone actually finds a tractor. I think I'll drop a line to Jim Cunzenheim and see if he's heard of it, or could look into it for a future article in the VGTCOA newsletter.
