I have searched the forums and have had no luck in determining what parts are needed for changing the recoil start to electric?20191005_090543.jpg.b6713c1246cea1705cad886bc2c9c0ff.jpg

What type of ignition system does it have? Many pull start engines have a magneto ignition and no charging system. If that is the case you will need a flywheel with a ring gear, stater and regulator as well as the starter itself and battery ignition components.

:twocents-02cents:      Your best bet would be to buy another engine that has everything you need and swap the parts from it. Buying individual parts and pieces can be very costly.

Another option is to go starter generator since that engine won't have charging coils. A large pulley for the pto shaft  side and some other brand tractors used the shaft side for the SG. It needs to turn the correct direction.

Give it a good tune up with carb clean and static timing set of the points, if it starts right up on a pull or two just use it as is with the pull start. Keeps it simple and easy.

Cool! This is right in line with the topic I just started about converting a K-161. Time for me to get some education :)
