dalez 139 #1 Posted October 1, 2019 (edited) As anyone removed and replaced the bushings in the pedal of a Hydro tractor 416-H. Did you get the first one out by catching it on the inner lip? Did it come out easy? I assume it is a Toro part only. Also the upper steering shaft has what appears to be a piece of casting left on by the gears. Is this meant to be there to line up with something or just didn't get ground off. I attached a picture of the gear but it might be hard to see what I'm talking about. Lee1977 7,232 #2 Posted October 1, 2019 That's just the unmachined part of the gear.
dalez 139 #3 Posted October 2, 2019 OK. I was thinking it was to line up somewhere to make sure the steering wheel was on in the proper orientation. Another picture might show at better angle.
dalez 139 #4 Posted October 2, 2019 Sorry, no bushings in this year. I was looking at a schematic from a previous years model.
oliver2-44 10,782 #5 Posted October 2, 2019 That chunk that’s between the teeth about 3 o’clock is probable some casting that didn’t get ground off
