carlosking450 158 #1 Posted September 29, 2019 Hello friends I have been testing my 702 and I have noticed that the exhaust is very hot, even the engine cover feels hot but does not burn, this is normal? Does the same thing happen to you? What can happen?
Pullstart 66,802 #2 Posted September 29, 2019 Carlos, the paint around my exhaust on the head has always burned off. So long as the shrouds are all on the engine and the fan is moving air, it’ll most likely be fine. The only other thing causing it to run hot would be a lean carburetor... but if it’s running ok, I wouldn’t worry about a thing
carlosking450 158 #3 Posted September 29, 2019 the carburetor regulate me, before it was very rich because it blew black smoke, regulates it and accelerates well, and does not stop or anything, thanks I will be watching!
pacer 3,177 #4 Posted September 29, 2019 Exhaust gets amazingly HOT!! If you ever run at night full throttle and maybe under load (moving snow?) and look at the pipe right at the block -- will no doubt be a nice cherry red!
