953 nut 58,716 #26 Posted October 2, 2019 When we built the house eight years ago there was no sealer put on the concrete. I acid etched the garage floor and stayed off it for a few days then put down the two part epoxy paint with the plastic sprinkles on it. So far it has held up well, if the floor had been sealed I understand it wouldn't have bonded well. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
WHX?? 51,083 #27 Posted October 2, 2019 Always though of doing that to my shop floor Dick. Not a big fan of the sprinkles tho but would guess they help make it non skid. My concrete was never sealed either. Only thing that keeps me from doing it is not so much the $$ but also the thought of having to move everything out!
