I don't know about using tape but the best thing we found to keep mice out of our camper is Irish Spring soap the original scent.

Can someone invent an aluminum cover? I need to put my 520 H back out in the shed. (Its in my garage currently) Taking up too much space right now.

Just do not want to have it ruined again. I have about 8 traps set. Not looking forward to this winter.

Your welcome. Ya know I'm always look'n out for you.

Did you try the tape? I'm curious if it has enough insulation to stop the spark from jumping out.

I used Scotch 33 on a 50 amp circuit with brass screw connectors for a cooktop was still working 45 years later when I took it out a few weeks ago.  I'll have to say it was hard to get off, had to cut most of it off.. I now have some Super 88 that is thicker.

Farmers hot Line Advertising magazine gives an ad that mentions Rataway.com They make a repellentthat repels Rats Mice squirrels rabbits. thee concentrate makes a gallon of spray and makes one gallon.. Never used it, not an endorsement. I cleaned out a transmission tunnel on a black hood with an automatic. grass, grease, dirt , mouse cotton. I had to place a suction hose in there and blow it with an air compressor and dug some clods out by hand . it took a solid half hour
