Mid Mount Tach -O- Matic on a 64 Lawn Ranger?

Hey Guys. Would a mid mount tach - o- matic bracket system work on a 64 Lawn Ranger for the purposes of mounting a LR plow? I know the original design called for the enclosed style mid mount brackets like those used for the round nose mower decks, but if this system works it would allow you to remove the plow without unbolting the brackets. Any help or pictures would be much appreciated.

The mid attach-a-matic hitch will bolt directly to the same holes that the enclosed hitch fits into.

But the LR plow will not fit without modifying it. It is too wide for the cross member that swings down on the Attach-a-matic hitch. You'll need to narrow the plow frame by almost half an inch.

I'm trying to make up my mind if I should modify my plow or not. It's in excellent original shape, and has all the parts that lift it.

Thanks Kevin. I kinda figured that an even swap would be to good to be true. I am with you on avoiding altering the plow as well. The truth is that the tach - o - matic bracket is easy to come by as compared to the older style bracket also. Thanks again.
