Cvans 1,009 #504 Posted April 9, 2020 It's been awhile since I checked but it seems like you need to meet two of the three following requirements. Be over 20 acres and you need to generate above so much of your income from the land. or so many acres has to be in farm production. They are trying to keep tillable land of being broken up into small plots. Also only four residents to a section. We own farmland but because our home is not on that land and is only 8 acres it is not considered ag land and therefore taxed higher. Go figure. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
