:text-welcomeconfetti: to RedSquare Colossus!  I’m so excited for a new build!

EB.  KBS three part fuel tank sealer.  It rocks.  Lots. Of. Words.  :handgestures-thumbupright:

I wouldn’t worry about a gas tank… by the time this baby gets running we’ll all be using a proton physical particle emulsifying separator for propulsion and the UN will have banned internal combustion engines…

Well, I have a spare Roof 60 tank if you think it will fit into your plans. It's big but you're going wide so....

Take a look at the pic and I can get you measurements if you're interested.

(And it's red)

How wide is that Roof tank John?

Looks like maybe 25" or so?

That's bigger than I'd originally envisioned but now that you mention width, my front axle is about 40, 41 inches across soooo yours might be a good fit.

28 X 14 X 6 deep

Almost 10 gallons capacity. The angles take away some of the calculated volume with those measurements. Useful amount is probably 8 gallons so that'll keep ya going a little while without running dry

Yeeesh.

I like the look but that's pretty wide.

I'll pass for now.

I REALLY appreciate the offer though!

No Problem. Told ya it was big! LoL

Cutting the end off and shorting it makes it an adjustable tank. You got a welder now

Not sure letting me anywhere near a GAS tank with a welder is the best idea.....

If you really want to use your riveted tank this sealer works quite well. It's held up for a year so far without issues.

huge in comparision to my KT17,

Everything about this engine is beast-sized.

Several inches larger than a 17 or 18 block in every way.

Can't even mount a clutch pedal on the tractor.

I'll be using a hand clutch for this one.

While reading up on KT's, I stumbled across a stement that the big KT has spray type lube like the series 1 KT's.

If true, this might be something to keep in mind while operating on your nice, smooth, level property.

This beast has an oil filter so it's a pressurized system.

It's likely a second generation engine.

Date of manufacture is unknown and unable to be found due to decal damage.

EB got it made and don't know it. Has Trina to hold those heavy transmissions in place while he puts the bolts in. I'm almost twice as old and had to do it all myself. I saw those pictures of Trina moving the big 16 HP Kohler around.

You better get busy and get that thing out of her shop before she pushes it out in the snow to rust.

A. She respects equipment way too much to ever think about that.

B. As of this past weekend I now have FOUR C160s.

Certainly worth delaying the rest of world a bit more....
