ebinmaine 73,016 #3 Posted August 22, 2019 Sometimes a hair dryer helps on the T handle style. Warms up the plastic to make it a little more pliable. I've seen one here with a tiny little roll pin in it and I've seen one with a tiny little cotter pin. Cotter pin was obviously done by a previous owner but the roll pin really looked great. cleat 7,311 #4 Posted August 22, 2019 I pull both T and the new style square knobs using a nail hammer. Just put a piece of thin wood or something between the hammer and the dash then hook the claw around the flat metal lever and under the knob and pull it just like pulling a nail. Warm the knob before tapping it back on to help keep it from breaking (you can warm it before pulling as well). 4 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
