Another "what model is it" thread.

Went to a classic car show and cruise in Vernon, Tx this weekend, and coupled with the show is a antique engine/ tractor show. This was one of two garden tractors that was there,  the other being a CC 104. Has a predator swap and a stack out the hood (which I don't particularly care for) but was a neat tractor nonetheless. The owner wasn't around so I didn't get a chance to talk with him. Anyone know what model it is?

I forgot to get a picture of the SBC powered Farmall Cub with zoomies on it, which was pretty cool. Here also is a picture of my buddy's 78 Little red express, my new-to-me 81 Porsche 928, my dad's 57 Chevy and my step-mothers 68 Camaro that we took. It was pretty hot, but an extremely fun event nonetheless.

Nice tractor, those predators ruin the look though

Yes, RJ35  I saw that one at the Temple Show last October.  The restoration was well done, but the Predator and especially the hole for the stack were :angry-screaming: He said he had the original unrestored engine.

Did yo get a picture of the other side of the RJ-35?                :confusion-confused:               Looks like the variable speed setup is gone, probably just using a centrifugal clutch.

Yes I agree - If I were to run a stack I would've routed beside the hood - not hacked a hole in it! To each his own, though.

Eric, I'll have to dig through my pictures and see if I have any others of it. Paint is 50 years old, but the interior has been completely redone, as well as the running gear. Had a year-correct 283 in it for a few thousand miles, but the person who rebuilt it did a bad job and broke some rings. It wound up having to have a couple of cylinders sleeved. While it was back at the engine builders, we threw a known good 71 350 LT1 in it. It was only going to be in there temporarily, but its been in for about 6 years now. Has a 3 speed on the column w/ overdrive, 4.11 gears and averages 21 MPG running 75 with the factory AC blowing. It's a good driver.

The original 327 in the Camaro was tired. We had a freshly bored 350 block and all the pieces to put it together but had been procrastinating due to the heat. My dad and I put it together last week and I installed it and had it running Wednesday evening. Drove it around just enough to make sure all was good with it before leaving out in the 106 degree heat on Friday.

Richard, I didn't take any more pictures of it, but it did appear to be using all of the vari-drive setup.
