K532 tins

D200 with K532 here.  Just got her back in business after a long hiatus.  I don't particylarly feel like putting the tins back on, at least at the moment, and to be honest it seems to run happier without.  Is there any danger to just running nekked?

the engine tins on an air cooled motor are very important, it keeps the air flowing over and around the engine in a particular pattern to keep the motor cool. Without the tins you may get either hot spots on the motor or just not cool the motor the way it was designed to be cooled
