Yea, the color is a little off. PO started this several years ago but did not get it finished. I thought I would try getting it back together, but I'm having second thoughts about it now. Was wondering what price range this would be in if I decide to post in the classified. I have noticed there are a few small parts missing, nothing big.

Can you tell us a little more about what you or the previous owner did to it. What engine is in it and does it run?  Are the drive pulleys and guard on the other side there?

PS I thought I was the only one that finds everything painted JD green!

The engine is a Tecumseh Model H60-75117E . 6HP. From the research I've done that would be the correct original engine for this model.

the previous owner said that the engine was rebuilt. I have not had it running. Engine work is not my strong suit. That is mainly the reason I'm thinking of selling. The spark plug looks new and the oil on the dipstick looks fresh.  When I got this tractor it was in pieces, with the frame and running gear as one piece and the rest of it all loose and in boxes. Yes the belt guard and pulleys are there on the other side.

:WRS:

A non-running fairly complete late '60s :wh: Lawn Ranger with nice tires and wheels would probably find a willing buyer in the $ 300 range. If it runs and drives well you could double your money.      :confusion-confused:    Once you get it running and drive it around you will probably want to keep it though.     :handgestures-thumbupright:
