Tim T 4 #1 Posted August 6, 2019 I have a 1984 C-195 garden tractor and the PTO clutch rod (P/N 109764) has a fracture at one of the bends. In case welding this does not work, where can I purchase one of these? The part is discontinued and I'm having difficulty finding a source. Any recommendations? Tim T 4 #2 Posted August 6, 2019 Well never mind. The weld worked and I don't think my clutch has worked this well in many years. I can even adjust it now! I thinkthe clutch rod has been failing and possible the source of my past clutch issues. My friend that found the cause and fixed it is an amazing guy. I swear there is nothing he can't troubleshoot & fix. His hobby is taking old John Deere tractors and completely restores them - sometimes making his own parts. I'm getting him a nice gift card at Fleet Farm.

Tim T 4 #4 Posted August 7, 2019 Thanks Garry. I have the gap set at 3/16" for the clutch and 1/4" for the brake. Where does one access these C-195 bulletins? They seem very helpful. Also (assuming you have a Wheel Horse) where do you go to get parts? My is 1984 model and many parts are discontinued.
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,528 #5 Posted August 7, 2019 A search using C-195 brings these up but not many service bulletins. https://www.wheelhorseforum.com/search/?&q="c-195"&type=downloads_file&search_and_or=or The results are in no particular order on 3 pages so look through them all. Fortunately have been able to source needed generic parts from local jobbers as Toro dealers are getting scarce. My horses are more common than the C-195 which helps.
