Jim,               :jaw:            you of all people should know that a 657/857 are four speeds;   a 1067/1267 would be a six speed;   six speeds were not used in 6 and 8 HP :wh:  in 1967

My bad :hide: I misheard Dino...my glasses are dirty..  havin a hard day... brain fart....killed too many brain cells last tractor show. Thanks Dan :occasion-xmas:

No matter Hoss go get em both we'll look for shift levers later! :D

No 6 speed in a 6hp in '67 for sure, but my T867 is proof of the 6 speed used in an 8hp.

Made a deal for the 657.  $375, picking it up on Wednesday.

I think you did just fine there, I would change the gear oil when you get it, grease it up and put it to work.  those decks cut real nice, it's not high speed zero turn, it's slow a  2nd gear cut, that way you can watch all the people staring at you

:text-yeahthat:              If you manage to pull that off we will need to put your name on this wanted poster!               :ychain:

So a 1056 that runs well with a deck would qualify for the poster?

For $107.00?🎇

I think you need both of them!    The 414 would be your worker and the 657 would be you date for an evening out!     :ychain:    The fact that the 414 had been owned by school district would indicate to me that it was serviced on a regular basis and has a strong likelihood of being a good buy.

You know Richard, I work my 855 just as hard as I do the rest of my equipment, and she does it all while looking good the whole time.
