Are Onan Engines Obsolete?

Recommended Posts

Brian

My dad and I made a gasket today in the intake (there was none) so we think we ruled that out. Then it was running rich and we took out the float and it was so brittle that it basicly fell apart. I dont have a tractor supply where I live so is there any other places that i could possibly go to?

If nothing else works a Toro dealer should be able to get parts but not cheap.

The Onan as we knew it on Wheel Horse tractors is gone. The Onan twins made lots of torque but liked fuel and couldnt meet EPA rules so the new Onan is overhead valve. This is the Cummins Onan site and also the PDF for the new OHV engine.
