310-8 Red Face Rehab to working mower - Help

Recommended Posts

Gents,

Rescued a much neglected 310-8 some time back, and now it is time to get her going, the steering seems extremely beat to hell, couple of images. My use for this tractor is into a good working mower, so I can park my less than 100 hour 314 hydro.

My question is what all do I need to rehab fix or acquire to fix her steering right?

Other fixes will include new tires all around, going with the orginal size 22x9.5-12 and 15x6-6

Deck rehab into working condition

Electrical troubleshooting

Many thanks in advance for any help

Here is the fix. Toro flange bearing No. 6472   May need to weld that back together and strighten it. The fan gear may also need shimimg to take out the slack.
