Cole J.

Hello all, it has been a hot minute... or years since I've been on the site. I have a '72 Charger 10 that I started work on about 3 years ago and unfortunately never finished due to lots of other projects, events and my own procrastination. The tractor is in need of some serious work still and now that I have time and money I can get the poor thing back on its own four wheels. I first have to find quite a few parts but it's nothing I can't do. I need to rebuild the engine as well but right know getting all the bodies parts back togther is my priority.

I have an idea in mind for my Charger, but I need a donor rear fender/seat pan. It’s going to get cut up, so I don’t really care what it came off of, but seeing as most I’m finding aren’t close enough to go look at, I was hoping someone could tell me what other models had fenders that would fit. Thanks in advance!

So I had the Charger 10 out again today and after pulling the throttle all the way (that I could get it) out and tooling around for a bit, I noticed it was throttling down and saw that the handle wasn’t where I’d left it. Pulled it back out, tool around for another minute or so and it’s doing it again, throttle handle back where it was before (not where I left it). Is there a remedy for this or is it better/easier to replace it?

The handle comes off in my hand from the shaft of the lever. That’s really just a matter of glueing it back on, but I don’t really care for the “pull and twist”, as it doesn’t seem to stay. Has anyone changed out the levers with anything else? If I can make this one work the way it should, I’ll take any tips and tricks to do so!

I was reminiscing the other day with a WH friend about some of the trips we have taken to pick up Horses. It made me wonder how far some of us have traveled to buy a Wheel Horse. I am sure I have not went the farthest and would guess I would land in the middle of the road trip pack.
I picked up a 520 once in Indiana 5 1/2 hours one way. (that is probably my limit!).
      Anybody else?
