I bought a new carb for my C-120 from Ebay and the choke works backwards when hooked up. Where do i find the right carb? The numbers on the old destroyed carb is e235058.

:text-welcomeconfetti:to :rs::wwp:!!!

This is a problem l encountered as well.

Thats the Chinese carbs . I think all the

Chinese carbs are that way . I had to do some mods on mine cause l needed the tractor running. You have to do a little

detective work on orientation of the choke

control by way of pictures.

The carb I ordered for a 12 hp Kohler was from China, but it came with two different choke shafts so you could use the one that works.

I will try to find the Amazon ad I purchased it from. That carb has been flawless.

I ordered one for my CC1650 and it came with two choke shafts. Haven’t found one like that again since then, so thanks for the link!

You may be able to use your old choke rod. Easy to switch if you file off the staked end of the screws before removing...

Better read the reviews on that carb, apparently many of them dont come with the second choke shaft. I just buy one of the cheapo ones and change the choke out from my old carb - just remember that the little screws are 'peened' and need to file that off and the screws should come out easily, also remember to catch the teeny little ball in the carb body when you slide the shaft out, it sure can disappear!!
