M. Weiner 1 #1 Posted July 9, 2019 Im having some issues with a fresh rebuild K181 which doesnt want to run full speed. I first noticed it was running slowly as my ground speed felt slower than expected. To confirm I ordered a cheapo RPM/Hour display which reads spark and knows it sparks once per 2 revolutions. Typical Max it is running around 2800-3200 RPM. Idle is okay at ~1200 RPM. How can I increase this to the rated 3600 RPM? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

M. Weiner 1 #4 Posted July 10, 2019 Update: I adjusted the throttle bracket to the 6 o' clock position with no change. Further anticlockwise rotation is not possible without re-routing the cable around the points cover. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
