Stepney 2,354 #1 Posted July 8, 2019 (edited) Hello, all. Was visiting a friend at camp and spied this little WH in a shed. Serial sticker declared it was a '62.. I'll have to check my camera for the full number. Wrong engine in it, but a button starter was in place so I'm assuming it was a 702. My confusion is in the dash panel. My 702 was plastic like they all were.. however this one is very clearly cast metal, and sure looks original. Not like an 854 with the 1 piece dash, this is definitely screwed on like the older ones were. Anything special here? May have a chance at saving it. (EDIT I guess my 702 was a mutt. Google search shows 702's all had a metal dash .. nevermind) Edited July 8, 2019 by Stepney
Pullstart 67,092 #2 Posted July 8, 2019 Well, the hood is the right shape and the tires are too! I can tell you some cool facts, that’s about it. the hood has been worked over to hinge forward, maybe for height to clear that engine?
Stepney 2,354 #3 Posted July 8, 2019 Clears the engine alright, apparently had that hinge and a Teccy engine when it first arrived. No belt guard.
