48" Deck Model?

Recommended Posts

Jeff1981

I have a 48" side discharge deck on my 1990 520-8. I believe the deck to be original to the tractor, making it a 1990 as well. The model and serial number plate is gone, and I'm trying to find manuals for it. Any ideas on how to figure out what model I have so I can order some parts and get the right ones?

Here is the deck sold in 1990 but the parts list is shared with the 42" deck so hard to determine which parts fit what deck. If you are not sure ask.

You could have an older or newer deck as they all fit the same. Here they are listed in order

If you have metric spindles the shaft at the top is 5/8". The bearing number for a metric spindle are 6203 they are 40 mm  O.D. , 17 mm I. D. and 12 mm thick.
