Oldcpecdr 255 #1 Posted July 3, 2019 Evening all I have a case of BBS (big butt syndrome) .... any recommendations on a seat to avoid sliding around on almost any side slope ? My two Horses both have OE seats and don't have much side bolster support to keep my fat self from moving around !!!! Help ( and I am already on a diet) ... RandyLittrell 3,906 #2 Posted July 3, 2019 I am a big boy as well and have this seat in my 310-8. Its very comfortable and lets you sit down in it. https://smile.amazon.com/Tractor-Allis-Chalmers-Case-IH-Holland-Ferguson/dp/B07CZB7SMY/ref=sr_1_9?keywords=tractor+seats&qid=1562117960&s=gateway&sr=8-9 Randy
dcrage 630 #3 Posted July 3, 2019 Randy. I am guessing one of those set of holes matched the existing seat frame?
JoeM 8,446 #4 Posted July 3, 2019 I have the same issue. I cut a lot of slopes and it really becomes a chore to not slide out. I installed a seat belt but that was no good cause it restricted movement on my part and that was uncomfortable. I installed wedges made from steel to tip the seat up in the front and that helped. Right now I have found the material that the seat is made of is important. My grand son has one of those cheap black talon, (I call it ugly duckling seat), on his WH and it is made of a rubberized type of material. I have ran it up and around and you kind of stick not slide off. I am going to get one for my grass getter, they had a sale a couple weeks back $10 off missed that one. just my
Kenneth R Cluley 595 #5 Posted July 3, 2019 Anybody tried those folding arm rests?
JoeM 8,446 #6 Posted July 3, 2019 I had arm rests, not much good when you need to slide up on the seat edge.

The seat that was on it just had spacers, which I don't know if that was stock or not, but I pulled the springs off my gt-14 and used those. SOOOOO much better than the seat I had on there. Getting ready to buy another one for my 1277. Randy
Lee1977 7,232 #9 Posted July 3, 2019 (edited) I got a rubber covered seat from AGri Supply. It has a textures rubber like finish. It's not soft but you won't be sliding off it. Price was $42.99. I bought two. I added a 1/2" spacer under the hinge as It didn't lean back. It just was to stright up on the Wheel Horse seat springs.
