Hello,

My question may have been addressed...how do you check the RPM on a single cylinder engine?

I use an ES 332 tachometer. :)

Any of the cheap electronic ones on Amazon ebay etc. are accurate enough

one suggestion in addition to top end check the idle speed. Kohler recommends about 1250.  To low overheating and lack of lube are issues
