Lane Ranger 11,304 #1 Posted June 24, 2019 My second set of LED headlights on my Wheel Horse 312 Toro Model! Left headlight in photo is LED and the other is a GE conventional pulb. 4

ebinmaine 71,906 #3 Posted June 24, 2019 Definitely agree with the title. I don't use incandescent bulbs in anything at all anymore. House, car, trucks at work, tractors. Nothing.
tunahead72 2,536 #4 Posted June 24, 2019 I installed a pair of these exact lights on my C-105 this spring, and I'm very happy with them so far. I was a little disappointed at first, but I found quickly that they work much better if the operator removes his sunglasses! They give a real nice combination of lighting the area I'm mowing, as well as far into the distance, much more effective at both than the original incandescent lamps. Superbrightleds is a little more expensive than some of the cheaper LED units you can find on Amazon and eBay, but someone here mentioned their lights are generally a bit better quality, we'll see. They're listed at about $15 each, but I got mine for 15% off with a President's Day sale.

kwalshy 237 #7 Posted September 30, 2019 I too have changed all my WH headlights to LED & very happy with them so far. The only thing I dislike is the heat output on the LED isn't enough to melt the snow & Ice that builds up on them while using the snowthrower like the OEM/halogen bulb. But, I put 27W 4" LEDs on the frame of the snow cab, so I have plenty of light at night even if the headlights get covered.
The Tuul Crib 7,339 #8 Posted September 30, 2019 Yes the LED technology is a wonderful thing. You can leave a bulb on for days and give it a hug and not get burned!
