Just a question

Just returned home from the show and had a great time as always but here is my question.  Instead of having to pay my dues every year which I have done for the past 5 years I decided that I would pay a onetime fee and become a Lifetime Member .  I was surprised to find out that I could not do that while there at the registration table. Could someone please explain to me the procedure to become a Lifetime Member and not have to pay the yearly dues?  Thanks

I believe that Life Membership in the WHCC is something that is only granted by the board of directors for lifelong service to the club.

You can purchase your membership for up to two years I think. That is what I do. The membership dates are from show to show. That being said, if you were to join online anytime from say January to May, you would have to renew again in June. It's something that is in the by-laws and has been discussed at the general meetings many times.

Thank you for the response. I now understand the procedure.  I am a Lifetime Member in other organizations and only wished to support the WHCC in anyway I could. I am listed as a Supporter and was only attempting to further show my support. Thanks again.

On a different note, you CAN purchase a lifelong membership to RedSquare.
