Not sure where he saw the $230 carb.. Maybe on a different site? Glad to hear your friend is OK.. How bad is the rest of the tractor? Here's a possible source, but I fear that shortly after you buy it they'll say its NLA. Worth a shot, though. The original carb part number was 15001-2983, and the superceded part number is 15003-2131. https://www.russopower.com/kawasaki-part-number-15001-2983-carburetor-assy There are also a few used ones on eBay. Ed Kennell 42,049 #7 Posted June 24, 2019 Thanks for the info Jonah. I have not actually seen the tractor. It belongs to my neighbors daughter that is visiting her mother near me. The daughter and her boyfriend live in Ohio. They tell me the carb was the only part damaged by the fire. ????
