Didn't all wheelhorses come with hubcaps what's the deal?

I’m sure they were an option and not included on every tractor.

953 nut

Only a few like the 417-A  and other upscale models had them as part of the package.

I have a set from my Bronco 14, the smooth dome ones with just the plain WH logo.

The plating on the hubcaps is thin.I would think that a lot of them were discarded because of rust or dents. The first 416H I bought came with a pristine set of caps. They were the first things I removed. The way I use my machines these hubcaps are safer in the shop.post-14709-0-15251300-1424281397_thumb.jpg

Anywhere but on a tractor around here!

I actually prefer the look of the bare wheel anyway but they'd get dented with us driving through the rough forest.

I've had a set that just recently were given a better home.

You can find em up for sale online and this sites classifieds.

I'm sure the wheel covers were an option too.Just think,if the wheel cover option was say, like 5 dollars, back when these tractors were purchased,5 bucks was a lot of money.Way too much for a few pieces of chrome that served no purpose. How times have changed.Hate to sound old.....but I am.

I saw one time a few years back a set on E-Bay all original in the box with packaging sold for $500. There in some ones collection now.
