Attach-a-Matic Help

Recommended Posts

lotus1967

Mowing over the weekend and lost the bearing in the front part of tha Attach-a-Matic. It is for the inner of the 2 "transition" pulleys that are mounter on an angle at the bottom front of the tractor as part of the belt tensioner. I guess I should really call them tensioner pulleys. Looking for source, and parts breakout so I can determine just what parts I need. This is for a 48", 3 blade deck mounted on my 418-8. Year 1987.

Thanks for help

Several places to look at parts diagrams.

http://www.partstree.com/parts/

http://www.sepw.com/

http://www.toro.com

Put in the VIN number of the deck if you have it. If not, this is the VIN

for a 1987 48" SDD...05-48ms05

That attachment is called the mule drive...at least that is what we all call it! Actual terminology is front idler assembly.

The inner V pulley is part # 104974. I can put a NEW one in your USA mailbox for $24.

While it is your decision if you prefer an Original part vs Generic, you can get generic idlers (both flat and V) from Manufacturer's Supply or Foley Belsaw.

Other sources of Generic parts also are out there.

IIRC these are in the $10-16 range plus shipping, of course.

Have a look on the links page.

At least this is an easy fix.

Best of luck
