, included was an RM-425 deck.  Is this the correct deck for my tractor?

Welcome to Red Square!!

The RM 425 is an uncommon deck.  at 42 inches it would be a bit much for 7 hp  Normally your 701 would have a 32 or 36" deck  Click  below for a link to manuals for you r new horse

WHX??

:WRS:

As the others said a very nice patina, I vote keep it orginal and work it.

Dan @Achto and Paul needs to edit they're  posts now we know it's actually a 702.

Mention of a new to us 701 around here gets more than a few of us hot and bothered!

Changing to 702 doesn't really change much.  42 inch deck would not have come with it.  (It is a complex belt drive deck that some big block short frame tractor owners might be very interested in)  42 inches is lot for 7 hp

702 manuals

Since the RM-425 mower deck does not fit I’m going to be selling it, does anybody have an idea of its value?
