Selling my GT14 (check classifieds) and will likely buy a D200 with all the attachments next week. Pictures if I do. Anyone who wants a GT14 check the classifieds and reach out. FatJackDurham 318 #2 Posted May 30, 2019 Question - All the pictures I see of D200s have two foot pedals on the right side. The one I was looking at has no pedals on the right side, and the drive lever is on the dash. Can someone tell me about this difference? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
pfrederi 18,719 #3 Posted May 30, 2019 (edited) I believe all D200s came standard with turning brakes. they would be the two pedals on the right side. The single pedal on the left is the "brake" on earlier years all that did was force the motion control lever to neutral. there was no physical bake. The motion control is a lever on the right of the hood stand. I have owned 6 of the D's and not a single one had the turning brake. And, as a side note I've gotten so used to simply pulling back on the motion lever to stop, that on the 160 and 200 that I now have I even went ahead and removed the brake/park brake components -- the linkage on them easily gets out of whack and be pill to maintain Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

FatJackDurham 318 #7 Posted May 31, 2019 (edited) Here it is! I could not believe how heavy this thing is!! The snowblower alone seems to weigh as much as a 300 series! The tractor starts and drives pretty good. I think the choke cable isn't set right but man, it moves.... Rear tires are loaded, and I'M FREAKING OUT!!!! I CAN"T BELIEVE I FINALLY HAVE A D200!!!!! I paid $1500 for the tractor, the blower, tiller, deck ( a little holey, bless it) and grader. I think that was a fair price for both of us, considering what I paid for the GT-14 I have. I have been watching this since last year (it was $1800 then) and was really tempted because it had all the attachments I would use. I just sold my grader blade and tiller because I didn't think I would need them when I move, but now I have this in the bank just in case. I have that piece,he took it off to vacuum the engine area out. What I am missing is the air filter and cover. He said he had it so I may have to go back. THanks for confirming the deal! I saw a post here by Chevelletown, I think and he had a smaller tank on the side fendor on once side, and a tool box on the other, and a back hoe with a sit that could turn both ways. ericj 1,579 #14 Posted June 1, 2019 (edited) Dad bought my D200 in around or about 1976, but it could have been a year or so sooner. It was used but I believe dad bought it as a demonstrator, I thought it was new till years later when I heard the whole story. Any way it was a tank. It had 180 lbs of calcium in each rear tire plus the factory wheel horse wheel weights. If I remember correctly it weight about 1500 lbs. It has never mowed a blade of grass, dad bought it to work the garden and snow plow and plow dirt with both type of plows. He bought the snowplow and Brindley cultivators and three point garden plow. I remember not too long after buying we where down at my grandparents plowing their acre + garden when dad's brother-in-law asks to try it out. He gets on the tractor and hold the outside turn brake just like would on a big tractor and wore out the brake, don't know what he said to B.I.L. but he was pissed of for sure. I would love to find a tiller for my D200 and the center grader blade wouldn't be a bad addition to the attachments.
