ClassicTractorProfessor 5,371 #1 Posted May 26, 2019 Went and checked my mail yesterday and found a package...in it was the gas tank for the 753 I purchased from a member here, wasn’t expecting it to be delivered until after the holiday so that was a great surprise. Just ordered the fuel tank gasket from Lowell this morning, and can source the ammeter and sediment bowl here locally. I do however need both new throttle and choke cables (part numbers 4455 and 4456) Does anyone here know where to source those cables or a suitable replacement, or is everyone just using universal cables. Looks are not a big deal, I’m not restoring this tractor so it doesn’t have to look factory correct, just something that will function as it should
JAinVA 4,638 #2 Posted May 26, 2019 (edited) Depending on what I need I buy the longest universal choke cable I can find.If I need a throttle cable I take a section a from the choke cable and use it to replace the damaged cable.
