The Gman 476 #1 Posted May 21, 2019 Just saw a listing for a 1954 wheel horse but no pics. I'm asking questions and trying to get photos. Add just says 1954 wheel horse. Could it be Walk away, rj, rs Any thoughts
953 nut 51,514 #2 Posted May 21, 2019 It could be a Walk Away or a RS 83 or some numskull with no idea what it is. 1

squonk 38,844 #6 Posted May 21, 2019 I had a guy approach me at a show a few years back. Said he had a 56 Wheel Horse he's sell for $250. I drive over there and it's a L 156 Lawn ranger with a chopped up hood and some other blemishes. I could not convince him it was a 1966.

stolmar 35 #10 Posted May 24, 2019 The gentleman who posted the add has since posted pictures. In one of the pictures there's the cast iron front axle that started in the 1960 suburban.

RandyLittrell 3,827 #14 Posted May 25, 2019 I have to admit though, if you look at a 1961 cub cadet vs 1961 wheel horse, the wheel horse does look more simple and thus older. Its hard to blame people that know nothing about them to think they are older. I do like the simplicity of the WH though. It took me buying my first one to start to love them, I don't think I would have bought one if I hadn't found one with a loader on it. Randy
