Felix 145 #1 Posted May 17, 2019 i Thought I had a b80. But when I’ve been trying to order a drive belt I’ve been doing a bit of reading and it looks like mine was made in Belgium and could be a commando 800 with b80 decals on. Is there a way of telling the two apart?
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,530 #2 Posted May 17, 2019 That is possible. Commando 800 and B-80 are model names that could have different model numbers. A model name in the USA was used in following years in Europe. As a result a model number could have one name in the USA and a different name in Europe. The Belgium serial numbers were consecutive from one year to the next which did not always happen in the USA. Helps when trying to date a model. Do you have the tractor serial number? Felix 145 #3 Posted May 17, 2019 I’ve not got it on me now. I’ll have a look when I get back and let you know. Thanks.
Lee1977 7,232 #4 Posted May 17, 2019 The 4 and 8 speed Wheel Horse have to have the belt guard in place to work right. If you tried it with out the guard on that is the reason it won't shift. Also the tractor should be stopped before changing gears.
