Spindle ?

Digger 66

I was greasing the old girl last night and noticed I have 2 different spindles :oops:

Or am I missing something ?

I think what you have is one of the heavy duty spindles that were designed for machines with heavy front end attachments like loaders.

I hear you. I can't weld now either, and I have welded for 50 years. Can't see anything but the flame. I have about half a dozen things that need welding now.  

I made those back in March of 2014.

The 418-C has the reinforced spindles like the ones on the right, the 418-A is like the one on the left.

Thank you sir , so just look up replacements for a 418-C ?

Are the  axle diameters and dimensions the same ?

Grinder and paint makes me the welder I ain't. I'm right there with you. I can stick stuff together, but it won't be pretty.

Yes, everything is 3/4".     The bearings on the 418-C are heavy duty but I think they will probably be the same length spindle. The 500 series probably had the reinforced spindles too.
