Coll 0 #1 Posted May 8, 2019 Hi ive just go an old wheeled horse mower, says it’s a 316-8 on bonnet, and has a Briggs and Stratton 18hp twin engine in it. i was trying to find some sort of service manual for it but haven’t come across any others with this engine. do you think someone has put it in at a later date or did they make a version with this engine? thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The O in the model number is the engine B1-16O801 (316-8) - Toro 316-8 Garden Tractor (1988) B1-16O802 (316-8) - Toro 316-8 Garden Tractor (1989) R1-16O801 (316-8) - Toro 316-8 Garden Tractor (1990) R1-16O802 (316-8) - Toro 316-8 Garden Tractor (1990) R1-16O804 (316-8) - Toro 316-8 Garden Tractor (SN: 2000001 - 2999999) (1992) There was also a R1-16O803 in 1991 but is named a 416-8 The tractor decal should be on the rear fender pan under the left side of the seat.
