bds1984 1,501 #1 Posted May 7, 2019 Just as the title says, I rescued another one. A big one. My Crown Victoria didn't really notice the weight, but my trailer sure did. She 520xi has 600-ish hours on it but is DIRTY! This is my first foray into the XI series which will be a learning process for me but I am up to the task! 5
19richie66 17,655 #2 Posted May 7, 2019 Right there with you on the learning curve. Can’t wait to get into mine but have other more important things at the moment to deal with. Love the car!
bds1984 1,501 #3 Posted May 11, 2019 A little bit of an update... I replaced the ignition switch and it fired right up after sitting all winter. She isn't as dirty as I thought since I was able to clean her up a little bit with just a garden hose. After driving it around for awhile I quickly realized how much I dislike the slow-you-down-as-you-turn system. I want to disable it now, Any thoughts guys? Also, are there any adjustments for the deck height side-to-side? The right side of the deck is about an inch lower but overall cuts really clean and is super quiet. Oh and the Crown Victoria is hands down the best riding/driving/handling car I have ever had! For a large car, it really is a joy to drive; it is basically a Marauder clone. People see police car, but hear Mustang GT when I am on the road!
