Randy_in_Ohio 99 #1 Posted May 7, 2019 The turf saver tires on my 312-8 are terrible. I have 4 acres of swampy land and these tires have to go. Has anyone used these SunF G003? I have 23x9.5-12 on it now and these are 23x10.5-12 which should be just a little wider and shouldn't be a problem (i don't think so anyway). Do you think these will keep me from getting stuck in wet grass/mud? Any other recommendations?

Randy_in_Ohio 99 #5 Posted May 7, 2019 Thanks for the warm welcome! Where can I get a hitch receiver like the one in the pic above?

Lee1977 7,232 #7 Posted May 7, 2019 Check out Greater Clevenland Tire "Kenda Terra Trac K502 23x10.50x12 4 ply $155 for two." my computer won't let me post a link.
RIRed 0 #8 Posted June 25, 2019 Check out "312 walk around" on You Tube. Norman from "I Save Tractors" addresses that issue very nicely.
71_Bronco 1,072 #9 Posted June 26, 2019 (edited) I have a set of the Kenda Terra Trac tires, which are the same tread as you posted. Mine are on a Commando 8 that I am currently using just for mowing duty / lawn clean up. I haven't needed to drive the tractor in wet, muddy conditions yet, but I've heard good things about them. I went with these tires as I wanted something a little more aggressive than turfs, for if I need to plow or do wet muddy work. Edit: Pic added. Had just finished mowing when I took it so excuse the dirt / grass clippings Edited June 26, 2019 by 71_Bronco
Firebug 267 #10 Posted June 26, 2019 I have about an acre of low swampy grass to mow out back. I switched everything over to ags had a lot of issues with the turf tires just spinning. Haven’t had any issues since. I did learn the hard way that ags aren’t for Ohio winters so I jest one set of turfs with chains for plowing
