The Tuul Crib

Finally finished up on my 1067 today got it running actually cut a little grass with it as well. This is a great running a little machine and will be in asset to the herd !!  I got out and mowed a little with it today and it performed beautifully!  I can’t wait to put the blade on it this fall and push snow. I know it’s still spring  but I am thinking ahead !!  I dedicated this tractor to my late father which would have loved these red machines .

Curious how you rigged up the deck lift. I put the Tach a Matics on my 1267 and use a chain.

Not Sure if this Is what you meant. I had to drill holes in the frame on the sides to mount the lift  arm on this older frame. I put the brass bushing on the left side and on the right I drilled through and welded a cap on the outside . Worked out pretty well.

Well it is sorta what I meant. I thought of doing that but I just drilled 1 hole in the deck hanger for a bolt and used a chain with a trunion on the lift rockshaft and connected the chain to the deck with the bolt.

Here’s what I did the first picture is the 5/8  hole that I drilled and put  The brass bushing in place and then opposite of that I drilled a half inch hole. Now I know what you were talking about only problem is when you take the deck back off you have to take the chain off. This old tractor did not have that style of lift rockshaft  so I had to customize it to make it work .  It took a little careful measuring to get these holes lined up on either side of the frame but everything seem to work out perfectly and it works great.

I like not having that lift arm on the tractor. Makes installing the cultivators and grader blade easier. :banana-wrench:

Agreed.

Of course we have no mower so it's never really needed.
