HappyHillbilly 86 #1 Posted May 1, 2019 Hey! I've been searching to try to find out what other tractor/mower brands & models used the Kohler K341S, and what years they were produced. Any and all help would be deeply appreciated. I'm hoping to get real lucky (or blessed) by finding one locally or at least cheaper than what a block would cost me. See pinned thread at the top of this forum for info on block base size. Some buyers specified shorter crank shafts. I’ve seen the oil pan differences and I’ve also noticed a difference in the number of head fins. I saw a Cub Cadet block that has 12 where mine has 13. I don’t know if the distance from center of crankshaft to top of block is same or not but I’m betting it wouldn’t work for me. Thanks for chiming in! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,490 #9 Posted May 2, 2019 I have lost my touch because a few years ago I found a section at Kohler's website that allowed you to look for a similar engine to one you had. The results came up in the most similar to the least similar. When you selected one it listed every nut bolt lock washer etc that needed to be swapped to reproduce your spec number from the donor. As you know - depending on the site's coding, some search terms work better than others but I've forgotten even the basic ones. Keep up the great work! We appreciate it! Later!
