WH656 9 #1 Posted April 30, 2019 (edited) Hi all, got the predator in the 656 while I rebuild the techy. Does anyone know where I can get a belt about a half inch shorter than the wh 656 model? I think it is 70" ? Is this correct? and I was a good 1/2" off on my motor placement. So my main belt is a little loose. Also, is it really bad to drive with a slightly loose belt? Thanks in advance. p.s. Let me ad that when I push in the clutch or whatever the left side foot lever is, The belt goes super limp.. prolly by 3" inches so that probably means I could get a belt a good 2-3" shorter .. rjg854 12,260 #2 Posted April 30, 2019 You should be able to get a belt from either Tractor Supply or Napa, most any place that sells belts. Make sure it's a Kevlar coated belt. Your belt should be some what tight so there is no slip when the belt is engaged. The belt needs to have enough slop in it when it is disengaged and the belt cover is on to be able to shift without grinding gears. And never shift while moving.
