No power to coil

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, curious if  anybody has experienced a no power to coil situation.  If I run a jumper wire from positive side battery to positive side coil it fires right up. It's an On an 220. Thanks in advance.

There are several components between the battery and ignition coil. Any one of them being open could give the same symptoms. Be sure your PTO lever is all the way back, it could be the culprit. This guide has system by system drawings for all late model :wh: applications. Find your year and model and then locate the ignition drawing. Some times just cleaning and tightening connections is all that is needed.

First place I'd look is the 9 pin connector.

What year is your 520 assuming that is what you have?

Here is page 443 of the demystification guide showing all of the possible safety switches and stuff involved to the circuit from battery to coil.
