roadapples 6,983 #2 Posted April 24, 2019 Haven't heard of a C180..
ZXT 2,401 #3 Posted April 24, 2019 (edited) There is no such thing as a C-180. If anything, with a 16 HP, it would be a c160 - but a C-160 would've had a K341 on it, not a twin Kohler. Can you get a picture of a serial tag? That would be the best way to identify it. Pictures of the tractors itself would also help immensely to see if someone "made" the tractor what it is. Lee1977 7,110 #4 Posted April 24, 2019 (edited) I have a Modified C-180. It started out as a C-120 then a C-160 and now it's a C-180. With a 18 HP Briggs Vanguard. It's a tight fit and a couple modifications have to be made. Edited April 24, 2019 by Lee1977 7

gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,369 #6 Posted April 24, 2019 They had planned a C-171 Twin using a Kohler twin KT17 in 1979 with 8-speed and automatic but it only made it to the operator manual. Garry 1

V Twin Kohlers hadn't been brought to market yet at the time the "C" series was made. It could be a great tractor though,

Lee1977 7,110 #18 Posted April 25, 2019 (edited) Some one built a C-200 on there a few years back. Don't remember who it was. As i remember it started out as a C-80. Search"C-200" Fireman built it back in 2010 the same year I changed from a vanguard 16 to an 18.. There are pictures of it in the tread. Pullstart 65,573 #23 Posted April 9, 2021 It’s surely gonna need more tail weight for the loader... but looks cool!

WheelHorseSteve 56 #25 Posted April 9, 2021 Thanks guys. I have a couple different ballast boxes for it but happened to have them off and was thinking it made for a better rear angle picture without. Will post more pics but it is running a Kohler K361 (18HP single) which is a beast of an engine; never wants for engine power. Biggest issues are drive belt slipping when trying to push a lot of weight and the loader hydraulics sometimes hitting their relief setting, as the bucket has been reinforced to use clamp-on forks for light duty fork work. I just painted the bucket as it was just reinforced with 3/8” plate on the bottom, lower / front sides and back lower corners but previously have used it for moving gravel, sand, dirt and mulch and it is handy.
