Kelly 1,028 #4 Posted April 2, 2009 Ya he does, I gave him a C-85 black hood, and a 12hp kohler from a 312-8 to put in it.

Rollerman 290 #6 Posted April 2, 2009 Well Kelly....I think you have the largest single owned collection of 1045's period. Nice find on your kids part. Can't wait to see you get one finished up.

Kelly 1,028 #8 Posted April 3, 2009 Picked up the 1045 tonight, runs good, has a new vintage carb on it, they put it on just before parking it 5 years ago, it is ruff, trans is froze soild, shifter is almost rotted off, at the trans but the seat is like new, but it's as you can see not right but it is WH, has the logo on it, looks mostly comlete, this is going to give up alot of parts, it looks to have a nice frame with only a small crack in it, and the hard to find gen belt guard, anyway here it is in all it's glory, and yes the batt. box on the hood is bolted down, his dad got tired of mower batt.s and mounted that, heck I can hardly see around it. wh500special 2,055 #10 Posted April 3, 2009 ....and yes the batt. box on the hood is bolted down, his dad got tired of mower batt.s and mounted that.... Ya know, you could put a deep cycle battery in there and mow your lawn on electric power... Or call it a hybrid and apply for the tax credit uncle Sam is offering...
